Terms of Use
Summer '26 ("the app", "we", "us") is a small, private, invite-only bucket-list app made for a specific group of friends and family. It is operated by Ucleus (Sunrise/North Lauderdale, Florida, USA). By creating an account or approving a child's account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Who can use it
The app is intended for a known circle of young people who have been given an invite code. Because many users are minors, every account for a person under 18 requires approval from a parent or legal guardian before it can be used. A child's account stays locked until that approval is received. We collect a date of birth only to confirm age and apply the right protections.
2. What we collect
We deliberately keep this to the minimum needed to run the app:
- First name (or nickname) and email address
- Date of birth (used to verify age and consent requirements)
- A parent/guardian email (for accounts belonging to minors)
- An emoji avatar and a chosen colour theme
- Bucket-list items, notes, and any photos the user chooses to add
We do not collect phone numbers, last names, home addresses, precise location, or social-media handles, and there is nowhere in the app to enter them.
3. What we will never do with your information
This is the part that matters most to us:
- We will never sell, rent, trade, or lease any user's data, email address, name, date of birth, or photos to anyone.
- We will never share personal information with advertisers or use it for advertising or marketing. The app shows no ads.
- We will never publish a child's information publicly. There is no public profile and no public link to anyone's list.
- We don't use the data to build advertising profiles or sell analytics about children.
The only people who can see a user's list are the user themselves, the people the user personally chooses to share it with (who must also be approved members), and the app's administrators for safety and support purposes.
4. Sharing
A user may share a read-only view of their own list with other approved members by entering that member's email. Sharing is always opt-in, always reversible, and never creates a public link. A user can stop sharing with anyone at any time from their account page.
5. Photos and content
Users are responsible for the content they add. Please keep it kind and appropriate. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, and don't post anything hurtful, harmful, or that isn't yours to share. Administrators may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
6. Parent and guardian rights
A parent or guardian who has approved an account may, at any time, ask us to show them what information we hold about their child, withdraw consent, or delete the account and all of its data. The approval email contains a private link to manage this, and you can also contact us directly (see section 10).
7. Account security
Sign-in is by a one-time emailed code or an optional password chosen by the user. Keep your sign-in details private. Tell an administrator right away if you think someone else got into an account.
8. Suspension
We may pause or close an account that is misused, that breaks these terms, or where we can no longer confirm parental consent. Superadmins and admins manage this.
9. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial fun. We do our best to keep it running and safe but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
10. Contact
Questions, requests to see or delete data, or anything else: email hi@seanblake.info.
11. Changes
If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the version number above and, where a child is affected, ask the parent or guardian to approve again.
